Most of Monpellier's history is visible both in walking through it's old streets or visiting it's attractions. All are worth a visit.

One will not realize how massive and impressive this building is, until one actually stands next to it!

A cute spot. There are always lots of people taking pictures as it seems to be one of few cathedral type buildings in Montpellier

As far as church viewing goes this is worth it. Not much remains of the original building but it is grand and good to see.

Tucked away in the tight streets of old Montpellier this gothic cathedral looks impressive from outside but is pretty sparse inside. The organ was playing the day we visited but the inside of the cathedral itself is not as grand as many others in France....More

This cathedral in the old historic part of Montpellier is truely monstrous. Large, bland and imposing from the outside. Absolutely huge vaulted ceiling inside. Oppressive religous momument. Quite impressive stained glass windows, but very gloomy. One can not, unfortunately, go up the bell towers.

This is an unbelievable piece of architecture!. On one side is a couple of bars and restaurants, ideal for sitting an soaking up its beauty, on the other side is a wonderful park.

This is a pretty big and beautiful church and the area around it is nice, close to the botanical garden and the Peyrou.
