An 800-year-old château with great rampart walks, views, and mildly interesting exhibits on local history and contemporary art.

A stunning Chateau by the sea. A few minutes walk from the train station and behold what a stunning sight. You can walk all around and marvel at the view. Quite amazing

It reminded me of a Tardis: vast inside. Even more remarkable considering it’s right in town next to the sea. So many structures & rooms to see. A sheet of explanation was available in several languages, as well as multi-lingual descriptions on the way round....More

Nice well preserved castle. it is just a pity that it is empty, save for some temporal exhibitions not related at all with the castle.

In addition to soaking up the atmosphere of the castle, there were two exhibitions. Both were very interesting. Exhibitions change but one which was good, covered the large concentration camps which once existed outside of Argelles Sur Mer.

The entrance price was reasonable and we had an enjoyable time looking round this enormous castle. Our main problem was that there were so many tunnels and passages to explore, but no signs to find the way out, so we were afraid to go too...More

This is such a nice castle. It’s was so windy that day but I still had a nice trip. This castle is so interesting, I love the history of it. And the view of the sea it’s just so cool.
