Really amazing though you have to pay to enter Le Jardin de Versailles which is kind of a bummer as there is no other real access to the views.

You can have a really nice view of L'Orangerie from above from the edge of the plazza located in the back of the Pallace. The place is well taken care of and looks very nice. All the trees are places in pots so they can...More

The Orangerie sits to the left and below the plaza at the back of the chateau. It's free to visit but much less so by visitors (many I think may be unaware). Approach the balustrade from the plaza and the spectacular display of arranged fruit...More

This is a large adjunct to the main gardens of Versailles. It's a bit like a huge add on. Well worth a look but make sure you don't miss it. As soon as you enter the gardens vere left. A good view from up above.

The king wanted exotic plants and he got his orangerie i.e. orange trees. It gives out a good fragrance. They are even taken indoors in winters. So much care for a garden!

L’Orangerie garden was one of the least busy areas. Had lovey garden with practically no one around. Great for photos too.
