You could not enter the Chapel on the day we went, it was blocked off. You could only peek in. That was a bit disappointing as it was very crowded, and those with audio were crowding around.

it is a pretty chapel but unfortunately you cannot go inside, what you can do is just take a peek from the outside, you will see it anyway when you go to versailles, it is like the first stop u will go.

This was included in the tour of the Kings apartments. It was cordened off but our guide just moved it aside. If you are not on a tour you are not allowed past the barrier. This alone is reason to take the tour.
