Literally a hidden, the entrance can bee easily missed, however once in it opens a up to a lovely park garden area, that is perfect to have lunch.

Obviously not that good of a secret, but we have actually walked past the entrance to the park on Rue des Rosiers at least 3 times. Even with the address of the park in google maps and a route marked, still walked past it and had to backtrack 3 metres. Eventually made it through the big green door and into the secret garden of Joseph Migneret.
A haven of peace, tranquility and not very many people funnily enough. Enjoyed our ‘Paris Picnic’ lunch with a fresh baguette, (from the local boulangerie) still warm and the ham and cheese from local boutiques.

We all love to get a falafel around Rue des Rosiers and this is a small park where you can sit and enjoy your lunch. Lovely spot well-maintained.

This is a real treasure of peace and tranquility in the middle of the Marais. You could bring a book here and read in peace or bring a picnic after a visit to the Picasso Museum.

This lil garden appears to be a haven of peace, just in the centre of the Marais area, sit and breath. It is a very evocative and emotional place, its name is a tribute to the director of the "École élémentaire des Hospitalières-Saint-Gervais", you see the windows of it just sitting on the benches in the garden, who, during the 2WW, saved his student from deportation and is Righteous Among the Nations, Joseph Migneret.

This is a neighborhood garden in the courtyard between several apartment buildings. It honors Jewish victims of the Holocaust and it has informative signs regarding the plants in the garden. There are plenty of benches. It is a peaceful place to get away from the tourist bustle of the Marais, and a nice place to sit and eat a falafel from rue des Rosiers.

Want a rest after your visits of all the "Hôtels" (mansions) in Le Marais, or your shopping ? Have a falafel in the rue des Rosiers and continue to rue Ferdinand Duval.
Just opposite there is a secret garden : rest, dream, hear the birds singing...

Opened 2014, this garden is dedicated to fun and educational activities including the presence of a shared garden.
The garden is An island of calm in the heart of the city: It is an ideal place for those wishing to take a break & get some fresh air in the middle of the crowded Marais.

Just go. And Enjoy. You will not regret it. Grab a macaroon first from one of the many shops around and then head for the grass.
