    17th century miracles
For 13 500 m2 of building there is ~ 20 m2 of entrance , and 10 m of queue in 3 different lines. Bravo to public service who can’t manage the public entrance in 5 degrees with 45 min waiting . It’s not Louvre but yet you’re not either from 17.century

    worth the trek
Not a galley of luggage, but one of Paris' premier places for exhibitions of modern art, the Vuitton is instantly recognizable for its prototypical glass-and-steel Frank Gehry shell, which is an attraction in its own right. Unlike so many of the architect's museum designs, however, this one actually reinforces and even enhances the work housed inside. Set in lovely park land in the quiet suburb of Neuilly, and easy metro ride from the city center, this makes for a great day's outing.

    A grand day out !
This was a great opportunity to visit an amazing building. The architecture was fascinating. I went to see the Mitchell/Monet exhibition & was not disappointed. All is set in the Bois de Boulogne which in itself is well worth a visit. A wonderful way to spend a Sunday morning. If there was a downside...hard to find...., but the shop is small & the queue to the checkout long.

    A favourite
One of my favourite art gallery / museums in the world. I have never been disappointed when I have visited. The Warhol / Basquiat exhibition that I saw on my most recent visit was excellent with the majority of the paintings displayed being ones that I have not seen in other galleries.

    Great great
A real state of art building. This gallery is fully supported by Louis Vuitton group to promote arts and culture. On that moment we saw an exhibition of Warhol x Basquiat. Amazing.

    Phenomenal building with great exhibitions
We visited for the Basquiat-Warhol exhibition which was fabulous and which I highly recommend. The building alone however is worth visiting for it’s unique architecture. They always host some of the best exhibitions so it’s worth keeping an eye out for what’s on whatever time of the year you are visiting!

Take the time: A must see!
A must experience and a fascinating point of view of Warhol/ Basquiat. The Frank Gehry design truly suits the depth, breath and size of this exhibit. So beautifully displayed and perfectly augmented with relevant information

    A minor disappointment
The museum is architecturally exciting, especially from the outside, the water features are beautiful. With all of the infrastructure presently snarling Paris the museum is not easy to find; we got lost in the Bois de Bulonge. When we finally arrived I discovered that the entire museum was given over entirely to a Warhol/Basquiat exhibit which was not at all to my taste.

Up Close & Without the Massive Crowd
We went for the Basquiat and Warhol exhibit and it was such a well done exhibit. Four floors of artwork and what I loved was how close we were able to get to the pieces. You could almost feel the pulse of the artists. It’s a really great location, especially if you have kids as the park next door has plenty to offer. When we went they were having a children’s music festival.

A Museum To Take Your Breath Away
This was our first visit to the Fondation Louis Vuitton. The building is breathtaking. It was far more interesting than any exchibit that could go on inside. We explored much of the information concerning its construction. The views of Paris were superb and you get the added attraction of being able to walk out alongside the Jardin d'Acclimation.

Enjoyed Rothko exhibition at the Fondation Louis Vuitton in Paris.

115 items were displayed chronologically over 4 floors from his earliest figurative paintings to the abstract works that he is most known for today.

The Fondation, designed by Frank Gehry and set in the Bois de Boulongue is a wonderful exhibit space. Currently they have an amazing retrospective of Mark Rothko. The space lends itself so well to Rothko’s work. A real must see!
The one downside-the shuttle bus from Arch de Triomphe. We had to wait 40 minutes for a no show bus and driver. With a line of 50-60 people waiting for the bus, the driver spent his time on his phone rather than driving the bus! Very infuriating! I advise a can to the exhibit-not the shuttle bus you have to pay for!

A huge Mark Rothko exhibit in a Frank Gehry building in a gorgeous Parisian park. A once-in-a-lifetime experience. So happy we were there for it.

Superb. Unique building, already worth the trip. Same architect as Bilbao s Guggenheim. All, or at least a enormous amount of them, works of Mark Rothko exhibited during our visit. Perhaps not so much my choice but unique to see it all together in this extravagant building. Also a few Giacometti s.

And shiny it is! Bold, intrusive, sparkly, spectacular. Fully worthy and emblematic of its patron couture house. And yet… this is a serious addition to the cultural life of the city of light. The current internationally acclaimed Rothko exhibition is proof enough. Several floors of museum worthy installation space are enveloped in steel sails, soaring and billowing at the edge of the Bois like an aggressive children’s boat in so many of Paris’ wonderful parks.

Mercifully it does not intrude on the skyline and does grudgingly afford distant city views of more familiar icons, La Defense and the Tour. I went specifically to see the building, to judge the controversy and, honestly, out of curiosity to see the latest contribution of our generation’s “starchitect,” Frank Gehry. Climbing the spaces is not intuitively obvious on a first visit. But I enjoyed the platforms, exposed nuts and bolts of the making and the challenging sense of exploration invited at every level.

Two nits: the rest rooms are few and under provided, and the gift shop, incredulously, could easily expand its offerings. But the fifteen-minute walk from the nearest metro stop reminded me once again of how wonderful it is to have such a forest of intrigue and invitation within the city limits. Definitely go!

Not my first time at the venue. This time was Rothko, a controversial painter among people. The place was pretty busy due to the exhibition so outdoors were a good escape even if hazy times occurred. The shop is not so wow and the resto busy. But the architecture and the exhibition spaces are always admirable.

We decided to go to the Rothko exhibit, which was fine, but how many Rothko's do you really need to see? Once we finished going through the exhibit, we decided to poke around the building, especially the many balconies outside. As sometimes happens when a museum is a great building, we thought the building (by Frank Gehry) was better than the art! Be advised that getting to and from the place is a bit challenging. Friends dropped us off, but when we left we gave up public transport and ordered an Uber.

This was a great disappointment. The security to get in was beyond anything reasonable. The works were displayed with very poor lighting and there were far too many people in the galleries, including large numbers of badly-behaved children. The audio guide was the worst I have experienced. I will never return.

Wonderful Rothko exhibition but the building is poorly designed with inadequate loos , too many stairs and a slow and inefficient cloakroom. The navette from the Etoile is really stupid - far too small and very uncomfortable. The one we caught was dangerously overcrowded, left people behind and had a driver who did nothing to manage the crowds. Why do they sell tickets that dont match the exhibition bookings?
