There is (understandably) extremely tight security outside the venue and with the public realm works it isn't a great welcome, especially if you have limited mobility. Once we'd navigated our way in, the staff were lovely and the exhibition was well worth the aggravation. The...More

I came to see the Gauguin the alchemist and Irving Penn exhibitions. They were both fantastic and I really enjoyed them. The Gauguin in particular was very busy. Definitely worth pre-booking to avoid the queues.

I often go to Grand Palais since they hold very interesting art exhibitions. This time i visited Gauguin exhibition. They exhibit for the first time sculptures of the painter next to its famous paintings.

Had a wonderful dinner--every dish came out perfectly--and the wine selections were matched with our meals wonderfully. Great atmosphere, great wait staff, great hospitality. Can't wait to go back!

The main room is only open for special exhibitions . You can see a part of it from the restaurant in the corner of the grand palais
