We were hungry for a regular hamburger, and this was the place. Fries very good as well. It reminded of our favorite sports bar at home, and the service was outstanding. Perhaps even better is the appetizer--a dish of paper-thin deep fried potato skins!

We alway's make a beeline to this fantastic beer bar in Paris whenever we are over here in this wonderful city. Paris is not noted for it's craft beer scene or good solid beer bar's but things are changing, albeit slowly. This tavern has been around for a long time offering some of the best range of bottled beer's in... More

Excellent place if you're looking for something really French: 5 stars. Bad place if you prefer touristic places and fashion lounges: 1 star. That why I voted 3 stars, but I loved this place very much due to great choice of beers and wines. I had an aperitif in a real Parisian place situated in the most popular and touristic... More

Well located on rue St. Honore near Les Halles. Good size place, and the one bartender on duty was very friendly. Smelled really funky. I was halfway through my first (and only) beer when I felt a tickle on my neck and noticed there were dozens of tiny little bugs climbing all over me - down my neck the the... More

Staying in Les Halles

Neighbourhood Profile
Les Halles
Historically the central iron-clad market of Paris, Les Halles has evolved architecturally since then but the pulsating energy has stayed the same. Now it houses the main shopping mall, which nestles underground surrounded by fast-food take-aways and international restaurants coupled with beautiful churches and the old commodity exchange. Parallel to it are the high-street stores of Rue de Rivoli and just parallel to that the Seine. The area bustles with faces from all continents and all ages at all times of the day. If enjoying high-street shopping with easy access to fast eateries and lively bars is on your agenda, this is the place to go.
