This is not a park with much ornamentation, but it is a large open area, with walkways, with many people enjoying the outdoors, even at 2000. It would be a great place for large families to go to enjoy the nice weather under the trees on the lawn. And a good place to get in a 3 kilometer (or more) walk after dinner.

The park was right across the street from the University of Paris campus where I was taking classes for the week and on my last day in Paris, I was finally able to walk around. It was just so relaxing to walk along the paths and soak it all in. Like a mini version of Central Park in New York City.

I only got to see a small part of the park but still it was nice to walk around it.

This is one of Hausmann's creations, or at least his park designer. It's a large park on the edge of town, next to Cite Universitaire. It's all here, lakes, long paths for walking, beautiful landscaping. And some great neighborhoods around.

Napoleon III wanted to create English parks in residential districts and this is one inspired by him. Lovely green space in a built-up area full of lovely lakes and mature landscaping. Lots of places to sit and enjoy the nature. Good place for long walks. At the edge of the city near Cite Universaire.

The design from the 19th Century shows in this park that dates from the Haussmann era. Everything is very mature, classic, and much loved. It's away from the busy center and next to some lovely residential streets. Only issue is the suburban railroad that runs through an edge of the park. Otherwise tranquil.

This park was designed by Haussmann's staff during the transformation of Paris mid-19th Century. Today it is more than mature, full of all sorts of pleasures, plus some of the neighborhoods around it contain delightful quirky architecture. Off the beaten path but definitely worth a visit.

It´s a charming park, full of green, with a preety lake. There is also a elegant restaurant where you can dring a beer or a wine while watching the delicate leaves falling.

Surely one of the most beautiful parks in Paris. As you wander along the sloping paths you will see a variety of different trees including Ginkgo and Sequoia. Planting mounds throughout the park are planted with colorful flowers. Sculptures are scattered throughout the park. Don't miss Thomas Paine, painted in gold, situated in the far south of the park. The small lake invites numerous water birds, including a black swan. See if you can find the large fish, up to two feet long, that hang out in the northern part of the lake. Walk your dog. Take the little ones for a pony ride, or, a ride on what must be the smallest railroad in the universe. Try to find the Meridian of Paris and the 5 meter high obelisk. Or, just sit on a bench and take in the beauty of it all.

What a lovely park. Visited for parkrun on Saturday morning. So many people running and walking there, even at 830 am. It’s a lovely little oasis in the city with a pond in the middle, several paths to use, statues, toilets, drinking water taps...
There’s a cafe, some old fashioned swing boats, a children’s theatre (Punch and Judy I think?). Great place to visit on a sunny day.
And if you want to run ... the outside path run 3 and half times is approx 5k... with a good hill (approx 1/3) to get the heart rate up.
