Not easy to find, somehow lost in a number of streets with russian names, in front of Petersburgh restaurant (now close and in sale). Nice church, mixing various architectural styles. Interior decoration and paintings are common for the orthodox habits. But the choire makes the...More

Every time we come to visit Paris, we go to 12 rue Daru, Alexander Nevsky Cathedral. The more often we get there, the more we are impressed by the beauty of this orthodox jewel. MUST SEE!

A bit of Russia by Rue Daru. A perfect place for a Sunday walk. For sure you like this place, it is very nice when Russian festivities are going on, for example on Eastern.

If you find yourself in the area, absolutely take a look inside this amazing church. Sometimes, volunteers are there to give free tours.

An exquisite Russian cathedral is not what you expect when you think of Paris, but the history of the Russian community in Paris is a long one. And their gorgeous jewel of a church is worth seeing.
