Acoustics good. Metro to get there good. Seating rubbish. Why you have to tip someone to show to your seat is beyond me! Why not put row numbers on tickets then everyone can find their own way. Worst think after 3/4 of an hour into Bobs set, people still arriving. People constantly walking by.

This is a great size venue, with excellent pre-entry security. Once in the venue there is a good view of the stage from every seat, which are not reserved. The choice of food and drinks are good also with 50cl of beer costing 8E. Toilet facilities are plentiful, the sound in the venue is good and ease of exit after... More

My daughters and I went to the Twenty One Pilots concert and didn't know what to expect as we are from London so hadn't been to any venue in Paris before. Once inside we found it a very good sized venue, not too big, with good views from all the seats (you can sit where you want to) and plenty... More

I attended the Twenty one pilots concert and I was very pleased with the venue overall. I entered pretty quickly and I had a good spot to enjoy the show. I would recommend buying merchandise before the show starts because after the show there are always a lot of people. Also I would suggest driving to the venue and not... More

It's basically a great venue and nicely small, too, it only takes about 6,000-7,000 people. I could get in pretty fast, there's automatic ticket controllers and it works, for the French surprisingly, really practically. The staff wasn't friendly, though. The seats were terrible but it didn't matter in the end, because you don't sit at the concert but you dance,... More

I love seeing concerts here, as it is a nice manageable size with great views. All the staff are very friendly. I have been here a few times to see various bands (30 seconds, A-ha)... It's a bit put of Paris, but worth it.

We visited here to see friends in a production. The producion itself was amazing, the staff helpful however when waiting for our friends who were in the production. The security staff were rude and extremely unhelpful. We had been asked to wait for our friends however security insisted on kicking us out of the building, not even listening to us!!!... More

We went to see Imagine Dragons 11/2015. I loved the size of the venue about 5000 people (my usual venue is Verizon center DC - 17000+). The staff was friendly and helpful. It was easy to find/ close to the metro Porte de Pantin stop. The seating was a little tight and when you are shown to your seat tips... More

We came from London to see ZZ Top at the Zenith and on reflection wish we hadn't bothererd. The venue itself resembles an old circus tent and holds approximately 6,000 people. On the night we attended it was very outside and unbearably hot inside the venue the temperature was well over 100 degrees. There was no air conditioning whatsoever. People... More

Mark is looking good and sounds great - using an opener this trip: a young Canadian singer with a small band. Getting to and from Zenith Theater: Took the 7 metro to Parc de la Villette - mistake! You have to walk around the outside, in the opposite direction from the sign or, like we did, cut thru the park,... More

Staying in La Villette

Neighbourhood Profile
La Villette
This futuristic landscape has come to define the northeast of Paris. The Saint-Denis canal is framed with luscious lawns and metallic buildings over a wide-open space. Home to Europe's largest science museum, this area rewards daytime and nighttime explorations; there are three concert spaces, plus cinemas and bars, and even open-air cinema in the summer. The surrounding homes are a sharp contrast to the futuristic space. Though on the outskirts of Paris, La Villette is worth the short Metro ride from the centre.
