We visited the exhibition of Philippe Geluck that confronts his cartoon charachter Le Chat with some icons of our western art history. It is full of humor for both old and young, but short enough so you actually want for more. Do not forget to pay a visit to the restrooms in the back of the exhibition - where Geluck... More

When we were there the exhibits were about Le Chat a well known character from Philippe Geluck entitled Le Chat et l'Art. As the author it was very irreverent about well known paintings and sculptures , but with a lot of gallic ( in this case belgian ) humor. Great for kids and adults. The kids have special ateliers. Very... More

Visited as my son has a project to do on Tintin. It was advertised that the exhibition had been extended by three months so maybe we were expecting too much. Very disappointing. Two rooms, one of which contained a history-line type presentation and Hergé's desk, the other a collection of mainly early 20th Century artefacts that had been represented in... More

We had the best guide, Anne who introduced us to TinTin and the wonderful world of Hergé, his Creator. She was fun. She would relate to the children and at the same time kept us, adults, very interested. This museum combines real art with images from the adventures of TinTin. The kids can do puzzles, ask questions, solve a mystery.... More

Our daughter attended the "atelier" for 2-5 year olds and she loved it. The museum also had a Tintin theme on display (I think this is temporary) that was very nice for old kids. There was also a small bookshop there. Overall, it's a small and nice museum.

Visited the Musee en Herbe ( children's museum, actually) to see their Tintin exhibit. It featured a few pages of original art, some samples of first printings of very early Herge work (both Tintin and not Tintin), a short documentary on Herge (points for actually acknowledging his problematic connection with the Nazis, demerits for the spotty subtitles), and a selection... This place is neither for children nor adults. One room museum: take 1 minute to visit. Price is 6 eur for adults and children... Avoid it.

This is a children museum. Very very very small. If you really dont know where to bring your kids while in Paris, and if your kids happen to speak French, you may consider this place. But there are many other better places to bring your kids to, such as the Luxembourg garden or Jardin des Tuileries.

This has been one of the highlights of my trips to Paris for years. In the past, this museum was temporarly hosted in the Bois de Boulogne, but now it has its permanent home closer in the city. It hosts exhibitions that interpret the works of art and usually the personal life story of a wide range of artists, I've... More
