Great concert in brand new auditorium

Best price/ quality concert in Paris. Attended a Sunday afternoon concert for just 20 Euros in awesome auditorium. Only issue is very very limited leg room (for any seat)

The building is a classical rendition of the architecture of 60-80's , not very attractive but representative of the times. It was completely remodeled inside. The great auditorium is stunning. All wood paneling , seating in a circle with no bad seats , all unobstructed view Seating is comfortable with enough room for everybody'd knees and some ( unusual in... More

This is one of the ugly buildings that damage the river banks in the area in the 15th and 16th arrondissements. It is amazing that such design for such large building in such location has been authorized. It is also the home of the public radio channels, and the home of a large auditorium. Attending concerts is not very well... More

If the trek out to the new Philharmonie bothers you or if the uncomfortable seating there frightens you off please keep in mind this wonderful option. Great acoustics and modern seating coupled with the programme make this THE place to be for classical music buffs. visitors should check out the espresso concerts too.

Houses French TV and radio production with 60 studios, a large concert hall and hundreds of offices. The bit open to the public is the museum of TV and radio, didn't appeal to me. Is an enormous modern structure recently refurbished so is looking good. Close to the Seine and was part of a marvelous river walk from Parc Citroen... More

Staying in Trocadero

Neighbourhood Profile
Trocadero
This is the neighbourhood of grand and impressive Haussmann-designed apartments and buildings. National museums overlook the Eiffel Tower and embassies fill the avenues and streets. Locals head to the butcher, florist, or bakery on their daily rounds amidst luxury and splendour, all with a view over Paris and its most famous tower. Snuggled in between the grand buildings are small art galleries and homes of historical significance. With a rich legacy from 19th century politics, art, and architecture, you can’t help but be reminded of the belle époque, the Universal Exhibitions and the nobility that have frequented and shaped these streets.
