Fantastic art deco architecture, an important historic theater where classic ballet pieces were first performed. Very fancy part of town.

Beautiful old theatre with ushers and old world charm. Not the most comfortable seats, but compared to what I was expecting after reading the reviews, it worked just fine and I had no problem with leg room (and I'm not short). First balcony views just...More

My visit was to see an opera, Poulenc's Dialogues des Carmélites. I was up in the top balcony, to one side, not the best for seeing what was going on or the most comfortable, but the acoustics were fine. There's a very interesting museum-type exhibit...More

The place is an Art Deco marvel but the seating (89 Euros for Momix) is worse than the worst airline economy seats and ushers request their tip a bit too aggressively ("et pour l'ouvreuse?"). Avoid if you're 5.8 feet / 1.77m or more or make...More

Enjoy this beauty from the pavement opposite, and note that one of the murals shows Isadora Duncan dancing. Inside, note the architecture. Each seat has an excellent view, but the Gods are a little high up. Tall visitors should ask the booking office for a...More

I don't believe there is a bad seat in the theatre. We saw Swan Lake and show / sound was fantastic. Plan dinner ahead as many nearby restaurants have dinner service too late for pre show meal.

What a rip off!I purchased a premium seat. What I got was a chair in the loge with exactly 6 inches of leg room. The tortuous seating was matched with poor line of site out of the loge. I will avoid this theater in the...More

A classical music venue close to the Champs Elysees which is directly bootable on line the day of the performance. Saw their orchestra perform Beethoven's 3rd & 9th symphonies last Friday. A great night out too!

Worth visiting just for art deco architecture and decor. Seats look better when you look rather than seat on them - beauty is not always practical)
