The Carrousel du Louvre, located right in the heart of Paris, in the first arrondissement of the City of Lights, is, without doubt, a premier shopping destination. It is open all year long, 7 days a week (including Sundays) from 10am to 8 pm, and is home to a variety of restaurants and more than 40 premium stores including Apple Store (the first Apple Store in Paris) and Printemps du Louvre (showcasing leading luxury brands with top-of-the-range watchmaking on the mezzanine floor). The Carrousel du Louvre is a uniquely designed iconic venue, with its famous Inverted Pyramid, a fantastic architectural feat by Pei (where fans can explore the mysteries of Dan Brown's Da Vinci Code or take the perfect selfie to keep as a special Paris memento), its Charles V Hall walls, its Comédie Française studio theatre and its conference and exhibition centre. Culture runs deep in its DNA making it a cultural site to be visited on its own account! The Carrousel du Louvre can be accessed from the Louvre Museum (at the end of your visit when you leave through Allée du Grand Louvre), 99 Rue de Rivoli, the Tuileries Garden (North and South stairways) and also by direct access to the Palais Royal Musée du Louvre metro station (lines 1 and 7).

The advice we received was to go early and it was correct. Even thought it was a Sunday it was very busy. The museum was great and you need to allow yourself a lot of time to get around it all. The gardens outside were...More

We mainly went here to find the "other" entrance to the Louvre as we are told it has much shorter lines. Pleasantly surprised at the extent of the mall which has some interesting mostly high end stores including the Printemps department store. There are also...More

On the way to visit the Louvre Museum you will stumble upon the Carrousel du Louvre. It's a high class, shopping mall. You will find a plethora of overpriced things to buy but I would recommend to buy them from another place in the city....More

Was looking for the printemps which is here as well as some other shops but not really worth the visit as too many tourists and not many shops. You take the escalators down and there is s fast food court area which is quite dark...More

A great way to end your visit to Paris. You can stroll around the gardens and even visit local food place near the area, all while still getting to see some beautiful and unique sites in Paris. This is also great for the kids since...More

Yes, you need to pay to use the restroom here, but it can be worth it due to the great location. There are some decent shops here, and it is nice to have a food court with a mix of options. TIP: Try the WiFi!

We walked miles to get to this attraction only to find the longer queues known to man. I took the advise of your guide and online reviews but still the queue was massive. It was too hot to queue so we walked around the complex...More

Before or after visiting the Louvre Museum, especially if you don't have much time to walk around, you may do some great shopping at the Carrousel. If you are looking for cheap souvenirs, cross the street outside the Louvre, you'll find a lot of shops...More

Louvre / Palais-Royal
From the majestic Louvre to the regal Palais-Royal,
this neighbourhood oozes luxury. The grand arches
along Rue de Rivoli are shadowed by mosaics in front
of decorated vitrines and hotels. Place Vendôme is
lined with the world’s best jewelers and their
glittering window displays. Every other establishment
has someone to open the door for you or park your car.
You can spend hours gazing at its haute couture shops
