It's a smaller arch, but right in your line of vision from the big Arc de Triomphe, looking directly toward the Louvre. That was the urban design, a straight line with monuments along the way. This Arc leads to the gardens and stone plaza in front of the Louvre.

The Arc De Triomphe is a wonderful monumental arch that's dedicated to those who died in battle in the defence of France ,constructed between 1806-1836 ,it's home to the Tomb Of The Unknown Soldier from World War One ,it's along with the Eiffel Tower the most recognisable and famous landmark in Paris ,views from atop the arch are awesome but in opinion best views of the Arc De Triomphe are from Champs Élysées .
A must go destination if you're planning a holiday to Paris.

Anyone with sights set on the Louvre can also enjoy seeing this grand, powerful-looking arch, since it’s so close to the museum. I didn’t have viewing it as an activity on my to-do list; I just stumbled upon it after the Louvre and realized how neat it was. Sometimes the best things in a city are discovered impromptu!

We entered here as it was part of our museum pass so we wanted to get our moneys worth. Be aware there are SO MANY STAIRS. Many people were having to take breaks and as they were winding they made me feel quite dizzy. A good leg workout. Toilets and information was available about half way up (and a break from the stairs). Nice view of the Eiffel Tower from the top but probably wouldn’t have paid specifically for the experience. Enjoyed the view for 5 mins then had to walk all the way back down.

I came across the 'Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel' after walking through the Jardin des Tuileries towards the Louvre. Built between 1806 and 1808 to commemorate Napoleon's military victories in the Wars of the Third and Fourth Coalitions this triumphal arch is half the size of the Arc de Triomphe de l'Étoile and not as impressive. Worth a look if passing but don't make a special trip to see it.

My husband and I enjoyed taking a walk to the Arc de Triomphe. It was a gorgeous sunny day and we were able to use the tunnel under the road to get under the Arc. Some of the best pics can be taken there. And if you have energy you can get a ticket and walk the staircase up to the top for best views. Paris at its best.

The arc is perfectly located between the Louvre and the Tuileries gardens. From the arc is visible place de la Concorde, champs Elyse and the defense,

This is neat monument to see and look at especially after leaving the Louvre. It's definitely worth a stroll around while walking near the Gardens and the Louvre. Also, lots of good photo opportunities here. Worth seeing!!

This is located between the Louvre and the Jardin de Tuleries and is the smaller version of the Arc de Triomphe. It is a nice monument but almost seems to be a bit forgotten as everyone is in a rush to get to the Louvre.

Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel is located in a park in front of the Louvre. This attractive rose marble arch was built be Napoleon to celebrate his victory in the Battle of Austerlitz in 1805. The ornate statues on top were added in 1828. Very pretty although much smaller than the Arc de Triomphe Etoile.
