Thanks to my crew at Trip Shooter for helping me choose this location for my surprise proposal. Located just a 3 minute walk from the Eiffel Tower, it was the perfect location for me to propose. Although not the original bridge known for the infamous "Love Locks", some to include us have attached their locks on this bridge, exchanged words... More

This footbridge was constructed for the 1900 world's fair to connect the Army and Navy buildings. This bridge provides a great vantage point to view the Eiffel Tower.

Over the Seine river, it provides a great view for the Tower and the city in general. Although I haven't been through it, I could see how beautiful it is. And could also take some cool pictures.

Passerelle Debilly makes easy access for a pedestrian to cross the Seine from the Eiffel Tower to the Museum of Modern Art and beyond. The footbridge was built in 1899 for the Universal Exhibition of 1900, it was named after one of Napoleon's general, Billy.

The sweeping iron bridge as you approach the Eiffel Tower was built in 1900 for the Paris Exposition. It was built the same time as the Grand Palais. It is a footbridge which use to lead directly into the main entrance of the Palais des Armees de Terre & de Mer which stood on the south bank of the river.... More

I never realised of the historical significance of the Passerelle Debilly pedestrian Bridge whilst holidaying in Paris. This well constructed bridge was only meant to be a temporary one I believe, but it has now proved to be a permanent structure in the hearts of the parisians and travellers alike. My partner & I spent some time taking photographs of... More

If taking a river cruise, you'll recognize it as the first bridge that you pass under after departing from Port de la Bourdonnais. It's an arched pedestrian bridge that was built as a temporary structure, but ended up being a permanent fixture because it was so well-constructed. Just the way the framework is balanced over the stone piers as well... More

This gentle colossus bestrides the seine offering a footbridge that connects quai New York to quai Branly, close to the Eiffel Tower. It was commissioned to accommodate visitor traffic to the 1900 World's Fair and got its current name from General Jean Louis Debilly who was killed in the Battle of Jena in 1806. The footbridge or its prettier French name,... More

Steel and wood bridge which is pedestrian only. Spoilt by a lot of graffiti it remains a very pretty bridge. It would be so much nicer if they painted it!
