A square in the middle of old Paris with a statue of Louis in the middle. The redesign with a new street running through it destroyed the harmony, but it is still grand. Full of designer shops.

Very pleasant area close to the Louvre and Palais royal with lots of restaurants nearby. The Opera garnier is worth a visit to. It is within walking distance.

This is no longer a major thoroughfare as several of the feeder streets are now closed. Surrounded by beautiful buildings all the same and worth a look. 1841.

We found this square walking along the Petit Champs looking for somewhere to eat lunch. This is a very nice area with nice restaurants nearby. In the middle is a statue of King XIV on a horse.

Place des Victoires used to be one of our shopping highlights but now most hig end shops have been replaced by cheaper versions.

The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle

modern day workers continue to take advantage of the
legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th
century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and
cinemas sit side by side with French bistros
predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in
