This pedestrian bridge is a treasure for its serenity and the splendid views of the river and both sides of the river. It's very popular so be prepared for crowds. The city is trying to discourage visitors from attaching locks to the bridge since they...More

On this visit to Paris my husband and I was 100% gun-ho on visiting this bridge. There are no more locks on the bridge. Some people have started putting locks on the light posts. The day we went it was over cast but it still...More

You cannot. The city has removed the chain fencing from the bridge and replaced it with glass. There are larges signs displayed asking that visitors not to put locks on the bridge, as they were damaging it.
