2.5 hours of commentary along the recently cleaned St Martin Canal. A really fascinating way to see much of Paris, and hear the history concerning many of its arrondissements, monuments, bridges and waterways. The commentary in both English and French was fascinating as we passed through 8 locks. The only downside to the trip was the malfunctioning coffee machine!! I'm... More

The trip we did was north to south, from Bassin de la Villette to Musee D'Orsay on the Seine River. Personally I did not enjoy the trip as we had to go through four sets of double locks. Some may find this interesting but after the first one it became boring. The commentary in French and English was adequate.

After leaving the Seine, going through a marina we headed into a long tunnel under eastern Paris before we emerged into the La Villette area. Took about a couple of hours and I love boats, locks and unusual sights so this peaked my interest. However the spartan chairs were most uncomfortable for that length of cruise and the commentary was... More

Dear Madam, Dear Sir, We would like to thank you for your comments. We really apologize for the problem we had with the speaker system. Our guide has tried to do his best to repair and follow the commentaries ... It's now working again, of course, and we hope that our guests will still appreciate our magic cruises. Looking forward... I like it by changing the level of water in canals and the long underground tunnel, but there are more than five changing section this thing takes a lot of time, for 1or 2 or even 3 times is good but in that cases we felt boring, when we arrived at seine river after some minutes tour ended ,Not a... This is one of the most interesting trips one can take. And you end up at the Citadel. We lucked out and had the boat almost to ourselves enjoying a demi bottle of bubbly as we went - so civilized. And that describes Paris - so civilized.

Got up early for the advertised Paris Canal boat trip from Musee d'Orsay which frustratingly never arrived. 13 of us waiting, of whom quite a few had pre booked. Eventually by phone the company confirmed the boat wouldn't be coming there that day but we could travel across Paris to get the afternoon boat back. Why would any of us... More

QqwwFirst off the PA system,on board the ship was horrible. The man"s voice was muffled and so loud no one could understand what he was saying. The top level of the boar was closed so we sat inside and looked out the side windows. The entire event was a bust

I had no idea what the guide was trying to say in English. The tour took forever, very little was interesting, the kids hated it...and the boat spewed gasoline and combustion fumes the whole trip. This was worse than a waste of time because we felt sick after.

This tour was fun and informative. The guides were young and enthusiastic. The ride was very interesting and the locks were so cool. Snacks available. It is an easy metro ride back to where you started.

Due to lack of staff the canals were closed on the day we had booked out tour. We were offered our money back or the tour would be extended and longer. We chose to go ahead with the tour. It was our last day so we couldn't re-book. It was a nice cruise and there was commentary that was appreciated.... More
