A truly elegant corner of 19th Century Paris. It's a beautifully-designed and exquisitely-maintained park from the Haussmann era, surrounded by lovely mansions. Nannies push baby carriages, senior citizens sit on benches and chat. Peaceful and beautiful.

The park has a very good relaxed feel to it. The entry is through some large imposing gates. Even in February there were all sorts of people enjoying the park, from joggers to those relaxing on a bench. All of the paths are lined with benches so you can stop and take a break at any time.

Went for a walk in the park in October 2013. Lots of places to stop and rest or enjoy a peaceful moment. Also, there were a lot of joggers in this park. Got looped by a few when I was walking through the park. One day before I was headed here, I was trying to find place de Concorde to... More

Love this park! Relaxing and refreshed. If you are kind of naturelover, should visit there.

This is one of the most beautiful parks in Paris, over to the west of the centre and in the nouveau boulevard areas close to the Arc de Triomphe area. It gives you a different aspect of the city.

On your walks through the 1st, find your way to the beautiful gates and get into 'paris living'. Stroll down the paths or sit and enjoy some conversation. I spent hours every morning chatting with locals and tourists alike .

We discovered this on one of our walks and LOVED it. It's filled with of people walking down the paths, local retirees sitting on benches, and kids since there is a little kids' carousel and an duck pond. I highly recommend taking a walk through here! It's November, but it was plenty warm in a down jacket and jeans.

Parc Monceau is only 500m from the Arc de Triomphe but feels like a million miles away. It is a lovely place to come for a relaxing stroll or eat lunch on one of the many park benches.
