The enormous park on the east side of Paris, most noted for the zoo and row boats on the lake. Also the site of the Foire du Trone each spring. You can get lost here.

Very nice park to spend a few hours in. We also rented a boat to go around the lake. All in all it's clean, quiet, and great to spend some time outdoors.

Really worth a half day walk or if you're as fit as the locals, a run or bike ride around. Very bushy with main pathways ans many sidewalks into the bushland. If you're into sunbath in natural style there is a designated area for nudists.

Nice environment! Lots of people but everyone is very respectful. I suggest to take the boats is a nice experience.

I visited this park twice during my morning runs, while visiting Paris. What a special place this is!! It has a quite large pond and, in the mornings, it's quite a calm and relaxing spot. Lot's of fellow runners too.

This large park has a zoo in it, wow. Also in the park is the beautiful chateau de Vincennes, that is a great place to come and view. This is a good park with great attractions.

Was here during the half marathon in march. The parc and area is big and really nice. Would love to come back for later springtime when it's all green and the weather is a bit warmer.

I am so lucky to be living next to this park. I really enjoy taking my dog for long walks. The Bois can be a bit intimidating and it's easy to get turned around or lost. It's a good idea to have your cell phone...More

At 995 hectares the park is enormous and offers something for everyone,,,zoo, flowers, boats and bikes for rent, walking trails, Bhuddist temple, and island restaurant. Lovely place to relax.

lies a peaceful side of town where wide avenues and

Park to La Coulée Verte and most impressively the Bois

its doorstep. For an escape from the masses head to
this calming neighbourhood where real Parisians make

Fairly certain there is no bike rental at the Bois, however, there may be a bike rental at or near the Vincennes metro station. If not, it really is walkable - just will take a long, leisurely time.

Hi - last week in Paris we went to the races at Longchamp (Bois du Boulogne) and it seemed pretty easy to just buy a ticket at the gate (5euros). Not sure if it will be more difficult in the height of summer but as with all... More
