    Modern Yet Confusing.
We arrived at this train station from Rouen. It has been completely re-built and is very modern, multi-level with many places to shop and eat. We had to scan our tickets to exit the quai area which was annoying. And then it was very difficult to find the exit out to the street. Modern yet confusing.

Visibility times and sound not top
Pretty clean including wc but visible suburban train signs only if you enter dedicated area having validated your ticket! Announcements via sono not understandable due to echoes. However, there are automatic compensation audio systems. A client who feels badly treated

    Station without waiting room.
The oldest station in Paris is second only to North Station in terms of passenger traffic. Like Gare du Nord, most traffic is commuter trains west of Île de France. The pendulum daily migration of workers in Paris and those living in the agglomeration is the basis of record numbers. You can go to Versailles from here. Over long distances, Saint-Lazare serves Normandy. The scarcity of space due to age and its transfer to trade has meant that there is no waiting room in Saint-Lazare, which is not always convenient. It is assumed that a developed system of transport (one subway line here 5!) will reduce the waiting time of travelers. However, for people accustomed to arriving in advance, Saint-Lazare is not too convenient.

    Famous for Monet's paintings
Gare Saint-Lazare is also famous for Monet's paintings. It's a modern station now, but the view from the roundabout near the metro station EUROPE reminds me of a picturesque atmosphere. The station itself, as mentioned above, is very modern and convenient compared to other railway stations in Paris with shopping facilities and restaurants, Close to the Opera Garnier area, Even if you don't use Saint Lazare station to take the train, it's worth stopping by if you're close.

Gare St Lazare is a very busy station indeed. Not only can you catch trains to the local area but you can also get trains further afield including to Cherbourg.

As well as a railway station there are also alot of shops you can visit. It is almost a shopping mall and when I visited there were plenty of people using these shops.

The station is well connected to the RER and the Metro as well.

When I visited the station was clean and tidy.

This big train station was renovated somewhat recently, and as a result, it is brighter and more modern than the others. Some new shopping and eating. It serves the northwest of France and many suburban towns and works well for the visitor.

It's been modernized and is more friendly to the shopper. But thousands and thousands of people pass through this suburban train station each day going to and from work. And then there are the people headed to the towns in the northwest of France. It is the busiest train station in Paris.

The internal organization of this station shames our country. What team of incapable people runs it?
1) An incomprehensible maze of aged escalators on 2 or 3 levels that are supposed to take you to various subway lines, main lines or a shopping center, complex will whirl around a dirty star platform, poorly signposted, crowded and where NO SNCF employee is ever present at 9:30 to guide you. (Ah if, sometimes during rush hour they display the cardboard sign "on the go" at their closed house!) And they dare to whine about the planing of their advantages!
2) Incomplete or missing signage, in particular that of line L which does not appear on this platform leaving users to wander and waste their precious time.
3) At the main lines, last minute signage of RER tracks forcing passengers to run to catch their train in time.
4/ Staff at the end of the train soft, sullen, fleeing, which you must chase to get confirmation of the destination of your track.
The employees of the SNCF, far from the grotesque legend of the "valiant and helpful railwayman" mock their fellow citizens and their work.

What to say... professional packages 380e, exorbitant , trains with sometimes comforts without heating or 50° in summer. Not to mention the delays. Today I wanted to take the 15h09 to Évreux.....58 minutes late with temperatures in the station -3°.... frankly

An outrageous and repeated experience in the toilets of the Saint-Lazare station

I am outraged by the treatment I received today in the toilets of the Gare Saint-Lazare today from a very rude and grotesque lady, but the staff is showing an unacceptable attitude. Although I have a Navigo Pass, which should facilitate access and guarantee a minimum of respect, I was answered aggressively. On my last visit, one person even says abusive words to me
This behaviour is simply unacceptable and totally unprofessional, and it reflects a serious problem in the management of this public space.

A place to avoid until there is a questioning of service and respect due to users

My 13 year old daughter calls me to tell me that she lost her Navigo pass on her way home from school. Coming back from work, I pass by Saint-Lazare and go to the stand to make another one for him. Before waiting in line, I ask if a photo of my daughter's ID card is accepted. I am told yes. I wait in line for an hour and the young woman who greets me tells me that my name is not the same as my daughter's. I explain to him that it is my birth name, but that my married name is the same. As my husband has a compound name, I have the same, and my daughter has my husband's last name. The lady tells me that this is not possible and that I need the family record book. So I asked my husband to send me a photo. I ask to see the manager, who agrees with this requirement. After a difficult discussion, another lady welcomes me. Very nice, she has to check if my RIB is really mine, with the manager behind her.

In summary, the procedure seems to follow according to the client's head. The manager was obnoxious and the first person rude. SNCF services have become deplorable.

Horrible, dirty, failed experience. Transferring from Norse station, Lazaare was a complete failure. I can in no way tell you how many levels up and down, excessive walking and climbing, NO escalators or elevators were working! At just one stair was 87 steps up with luggage! No elevator or lift. With luggage. We missed our connection by two mins, train still there but would not allow us access. Missed connection, missed tour in Bayeux. We waited in new line to purchase new tickets, which took 57 minutes, barely made next new connection. Take a taxi! It’s worth it. Horrible experience!

On the Paris-Normandy train, 43 euros in second class and on weekdays...
Absolutely filthy train, and obviously late. Does anyone work on the SNCF trains? Or is everyone on strike at home in front of Netflix? Unacceptable.
I dare not even put a picture of the toilet, urine on the floor and sickening traces in the bowl. It’s not possible to see that............

While travelling through Paris I had the privilege of visiting Gare St. Lazare. It’s a multilevel train station filled with tones of shopping and dining. The regional trains and part of the metro system of Paris operate from here. After not getting anywhere with metro and SNF staff at the ticketing office to change a ticket, I found a very friendly and helpful young SNF agent who said to head to a different station to change it instead of wasting precious time.
