Opened in 1994 by private collectors Guido and Samy Odin, the museum presented a permanent collection of more than 500 antique and collectible dolls from 1800 to 1959. Temporary exhibits, activities for children and adults were held there. A specialized shop is still online.

This could be the least satisfying museum in Paris. The area is vibrant and brimming with culture but this? Meh.

This is a small museum but to doll lovers this is a great place and it will be sad to see it close in September 2017. As others have noted the signs are all in French only. Their '80s display wasn't very good or extensive....More

My wife has wanted to visit this museum for a long time and met the owner at a doll show in Anaheim, CA, USA some years ago. The museum was a delightful collection of dolls and the gift shop had an amazing array of stuff...More

I visited this small doll museum in the middle of Paris, which was fairly easy to find thanks to my husband's guidance using the underground subway. It's a short walk from the subway, down a quiet back street far from the bustle and noise of...More

Thanks for your comments, we are very happy you enjoyed the museum and the shop before it closes. As you mentioned it we do have customers who only come for the shop! The backdrops you liked were signed by Italian artist Giò Golia (1906-1992) especially...More

Thanks for your comment, sorry you didn't like it, maybe you're not fond of antique dolls and toys and would better like more modern subjects.

If you are into dolls, or were as a child, and if you enjoy things that are exotic and strange, you will appreciate the half hour that you spend here. Antique French dolls are actually quite different from their American equivalent. I also saw the...More

Very happy you enjoyed your visit in our small museum dedicated to antique dolls and dolls from the 80's. Located in a quiet place in the center of Paris, we like to think we represent the 'old' Paris!

If you like antique toys or dolls, this is the place for you. Small and sweet, very unusual, never crowded. Display a bit strange. Not a class A museum, but very curious and worth a visit as a hidden gem of Paris.

This "museum" is more like a old fashioned toyshop extended with an annex serving as exhibitionroom, partly with a main collection of very old dolls and some dollhouses and furniture and a temporay collection. When I visited this place they held a temporary special exhibition"Stars...More

It is hidden near le centre Pompidou, and it is quite small! It contains a permanent collection of more than 500 French dolls! So so cute....All the dolls are beautifully preserved.
