If you want to spend a day in a museum, this is the perfect one. You must take an audioguide and listen to the story behind every piece of art. It's a very nice experience.

The open top tours bring you right through the middle of this. You can jump off the bus and take a tour. What a lovely place. You do get quite a lot of visitors here especially the weekend

Visited on 17th May. Bought the tickets at the museum for 15 Euros. Audio guide is 5 euros. The crowd was minimal on that day so no queues. Used the free cloak room to store my luggage. Spent 4 hours and thoroughly enjoyed the collection....More

Well worth a visit and good value. Staff helpful you there help for directions place is massive. . Its quite beautiful in places. You cant see all of it in one trip far to much to see .

Security is tight at Louvre. Better to check it at your hotel. Yes purchase skip the line tickets on Viator to avoid long lines.

Hi, depending on when you are visiting, I think visiting in the afternoon is ideal as you lose the morning rush and most of the tours. Just allow yourself enough time to see everything. I’m unsure about buying tickets online... More
