If you ever have the opportunity to visit Notre Dame Cathedral on Sunday morning during a mass don’t miss it. You will witness a cold building become warm with the organ playing, the choir singing and the priests chanting. It is truly magnificent and the...More

Notre-Dame is an iconic landmark of Paris. Definitely go inside the cathedral despite your religious beliefs (or lack thereof). However, make time to walk up the 387 steps to walk along outdoor walkway. Then, go into the bell tower to see the bells of Notre-Dame....More

I don't know what it is about this church, but I love it so much. The history, the ambiance... Don't expect a rich church (like in Rome) but a simple nothern style one. The beauty is in other details.

Beautiful classic French Cathedral. Surrounding by gargoyles and with beautiful chapels and paintings.

Very beautiful church but too crowdy and noisy if you wish to pray. To mention the presence of chairs: no faldstools at all make your praying in the noise even less spiritual. Looks more like a museum than a holy place.

It was my third visit to Notre Dame and I always enjoy the architecture and complexity of this construction. If you manage to attend to a night ceremony you will remain breathless. The purity and spiritual healness is at home in Notre Dame.

The church is beautiful. So many tourists as expected. The climb to the top was amazing, and tiring! I recommend they have bottled water to be sold in the gift shop in the future, because you're going to need it!!! The view is stunning. And...More

We have been to Notre Dame many times and with this latest exterior cleaning, it is as beautiful as ever and well worth it to see the exterior in both daytime and night time. The interior is also amazing and the carvings of the Jesus...More

We were lucky to have a free tour at the cathedral on the day we went to visit. There was an announcement inside the church that the tour was starting in 10 min. It started outside and took an hour to get through the exterior...More

Two islands sit in the middle of the Seine at the very
heart of Paris. The more majestic one, Ile de la Cité,
sparkles with history. This is the birthplace of
Paris, the home of the Gothic Sainte-Chapelle, and the
site of the prison where Marie Antoinette was held
before her execution. Tourists flock to see the iconic
Notre Dame and the beautiful bridges that straddle the
Seine. Ile Saint-Louis, the more provincial island,

Of course! The only time you will have to pay anything is when you want to go to the top of the towers (which I do highly recommend). Otherwise, everything is free!
