A great museum, celebrating the works of Monet. Not overcrowded when we went and in the permanent gallery, plenty of room to view.

This museum was much smaller than the Louvre with much less people. It was really enjoyable to meander through the rooms and view Monets personal art collection as well as his own artwork. We paid for the audio guide as well and would definitely recommend...More

This is one of my favorite small museums & the lower floor (the Monet gallery) is perhaps one of my top spots to linger in Paris... surrounded by the works Monet kept (his son Michel left them to the Marmottan on his death)... the only...More

Paris has many small, specialized museums which offer art lovers a closer, more intimate opportunity to enjoy paintings and sculptures in unique settings. The Marmottan, a lovely mansion in an upscale neighbourhood st off the tourist area, is worth the effort to visit. We prefer...More

Long queue and no 2 for 1 or concessions. No cafe. Stunning Art. Monet s collection also contained some previously unseen works.

This is a charming, small museum with some of the best of Monet. If you want to see his work, skip the Louvre and come here. So worth it.

One of a kind exhibition, private collection of paintings and other artistic works of Monet´s friends and contemporaries. Very nice settings, unfortunatelly very crowdy due to the ongoing exhibition.

The closest stop is probably La Muette, but Passy is probably more convenient- it is probably a 20 minute walk and the neighborhood is really nice and more open than the rest of the city- you also have Bir Hakeim on the same... More

Sorry, Like Laura B above, I got into the line waiting outside. your best bet is to get there before it opens and try to avoid what will probably be a large crowd.
