Excellent place for children and adults!
Le Trocadero et son esplanade are located in front of the Eiffel Tower, the most important tourist point in París. It is a place, always full of people, from where you can see the best views of Eiffel Tower and surroundings. So, it is a perfect green zone, where you can sit, relax and do a picnic, or come to play with children if you are on holidays in the city. Really, a fantastic place for children and adults. A very recommendable option to come before or after visiting Eiffel Tower, in the day or at night, always. (See also Fontaine du Trocadero, Les Jardins du Trocadero and Eiffel Tower)

A tourist trap but still a fantastic location
Loads of people, and hawkers everywhere but still a fabulous location to get those fantastic Eiffel Tower photos especially at night. Just a few minutes walk from the metro stop. Usually, I would avoid these locations as they are very touristy which this place is, but it's big enough to cope with all the people and I was rewarded with some incredible photos.

The Trocadéro area offers one of the most spectacular views of the Eiffel Tower in Paris. Situated across the Seine River from the iconic landmark, it provides a perfect vantage point for admiring the tower's beauty, especially at night when it's illuminated.

This is the best place to view the Tour Eiffel and to take some photos. Take the Metro to the Trocadero station and walk to the platform that looks over the river to the Tower. You will be amazed. And there are a couple of good and surprising museums in the buildings on either side. Plus some good food and cafes around the traffic circle.

Great area for walking and taking iconic photos of the Eiffel Tower. Rating this four stars vice five because of the riffraff you may encounter in the area. Avoid anyone asking you if you speak English or those asking for "donations". These are well trained pickpockets trying to distract you or extort you for money. Watch their hands at all times. A common tactic of late is to pretend to be taking photos of the Tower and then as you're taking photos too they snatch your bag right from the ground at your feet. Seen it happen. Just be careful and enjoy the views. Very touristy area, but worth visiting for photos.

Le Trocadero Et Son Esplanade is a great walking area of the 16th Arrondissement that offers great views of the Eiffel Tower but it's also great to view Palais De Chailott ,one of the most beautiful buildings in Paris complete with all the gold statues that's found outside the palace complex,it's most definitely
an area of Paris to check out if you're in the area.

The area was bustling with summer crowds, but the views of the Eiffel Tower couldn’t be beat. Such a nice photo op…op! Trocadéro and its gardens are recommended to visit.

The Trocadéro is a remarkable area in itself, but is perhaps most associated for tourists with the spectacular view of the Eiffel Tower across the River Seine from the balcony platform of Trocadéro - the large paved area between the two halves of the building.
The view remains beautiful and the surrounding gardens at the lower level toward the river are as well.
Problem is that the fountains are not operating and you simply will not see the fantastic fountain and statue display that is at the heart of the Trocadéro viewing itself and is an indispendable part of the splendour of the elevated view across to the Eiffel Tower. You will not see what the tourist pictures offer you - it’s not there.
Perhaps this is just another example of preparation for the 2024 Olympics, but it sells every single tourist short. Those fountains are something else and their absence merely highlights the unattractiveness of the disconnected fountain outlets.
Paris has never looked so trashed.
If you can, go after the Olympics and enjoy it as it is meant to be.

One of the best views of the Eiffel Tower.
From here, you'll be able to see it practically in a straight line.
The place almost always has a lot of tourists and street vendors.
If you pay attention to your surroundings and your things, you won't have any problems, even in the busiest moments.
