Too bad I did not have cooking facilities in Paris. An amazing range of meat, fruit, shellfish, fish, bread, poultry, mushrooms, cheese... Open on Sunday mornings, best to go early.

Luckily it was just outside our apartment. But would have been worth a trip. Fantastic food options. Lots of other vendors, give a real good sense of real parisian market. Very authentic vibe

I love this market. It takes place under the overground metro, so it is covered. Rain or shine, you can enjoy the market. There is always a good variety of vendors and if you are price shopping, walk the market first to find the best...More

As an architecture buff, I enjoy strolling this 1.4-mile-long street that runs east/west in Southwest Paris through the 6th and 7th Arrondissements. It holds many stunning 17th- and 18th-century mansions. Some have become embassies, and occasionally a guard at one or two of them will...More

We stayed in Rue Cler just off Rue de Grenelle so walked down this road on the way back to our hotel many times. It is a great street for strolling along and enjoying the architecture and the shops. Stop and have a look at...More

We walked this street picking up various items for our picnic at the Eiffel. There is a wonderful formaggerie (address 204 I think) the owner doesn't know English so either pointing or a tiny bit of French may be required. There are many shops and...More
