An early one hour show that sets u up nicely for Parisiennes. Funny show, stand up French comedian who wrote the show and does it in English. We did it on our 2nd night in Paris and as our vacation went along we kept looking back on the show and laughing at the jokes and the realism of how the... More

I had read a lot of reviews and thought this would be a fun thing to do on my 9th trip to Paris. My husband and I were both looking forward to it. The theatre is very pretty as others have mentioned. The show itself - not so great. I chuckled a couple of times but it just wasn't that... More

Olivier is a funny guy. He mimics French people from other cities, Americans, British, you name it. He tackles ten topics starting from food through stopping a taxi to having sex. Most of it is somewhat based on reality, some exaggerated to a point that feels a bit contrived. A fun way to spend an evening in the city.

Really funny even if your are Parisian. A critic not only of Parisian but also American and the different nationalities present in the theater. Can be understood even if you have not a typical French accent...

If you believe that this show is a true self-derision spectacle, you will be deluded. Clichés about parisian people are outdated. M. Giraud wince all the time verging on the grotesque. As if that was not enough, he choose 2 times in the audience to try to imitate his bad performance. And as we were stupid people, he ended the... More

There are lots of funny parts to this show and the performer is rather talented and gets the crowd involved, however, it is definitely safe to say that there are large portions that are highly inappropriate for young teenagers or individuals of faith. This is not a family oriented activity! That being said, he is excellent at his craft. If... More

Two of us attended the show and we had a great time. The show was really entertaining and just the right length. Olivier even includes the audience in his show in a very entertaining way. By all means go to this show! We will seevthis again each time we visit Paris, at least once a year!

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
