Great intimate theatre! Worth it to pay for the best seats! Took my 14 year old daughter and she got the nuances that are hysterical to watch. The risqué parts were less risqué than the music my teen tries to play so I am glad we went. Go after a few days in Paris after you have seen the touristy... More

One of the best activities done while in Paris. This stand-up comedy by a French man was conducted in English, it was awesome! Basically my partner and I was laughing at all the jokes. Jokes aside, it helped me understand Parisians better. The best takeaway from the show is that I'm able to differentiate a Parisian vs someone from other... More

If you have sense of humour then you will definitely going to like this show. This is so true to life with some exaggerations but that's funny too. Oliver has a very friendly manner to get audience involved. I couldn't stop laughing almost the whole time, had tears in my eyes and aching cheeks. Definitely recommend to go and see... More

What makes this one act play so special is that it is done in English, by a Frenchman, who does an excellent job highlighting the common experiences tourist have when visiting Paris. The venue is a small and intimate theatre (600 seats) located near the Grand Passages in the 9th Arr. We grabbed our tickets last minute online and were... More

This was our second time to Paris and my wife heard about this show so we decided to check it out. The things he talked about in the show seemed to be true but maybe exaggerated. Overall I had a good time, laughed a few times and was smiling the rest. I enjoyed the show and would recommend people to... More

An early one hour show that sets u up nicely for Parisiennes. Funny show, stand up French comedian who wrote the show and does it in English. We did it on our 2nd night in Paris and as our vacation went along we kept looking back on the show and laughing at the jokes and the realism of how the... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
