Just the perfect size for an afternoon visit set in a garden with the best views and photo opportunities in Paris. The collection of amazing jellyfish tanks alone were worth the price of admission. The mermaid show was a special bonus for our granddaughter.

It certainly isn’t the cheapest attraction, but it was so worth a visit. We did not travel with small children, but we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Beautiful colours and an amazing array of jellyfish. I can imagine, however, that this place will be a whole lot less pleasant to visit when it is busy.

Well kept and a very good variety of sea life. Enjoyed the mermaid show but unfortunately not being French speaking I did not understand the dialogue. Also there was one of the staff doing a talk for an audience in French. I noticed that it was packed with tourists and many of them did not understand. I suggest that there will be screens with English/Spanish commentary so it can be enjoyed by more people.

We visited the Aquarium a very cold day, we found it as a paradise because it was warm and pleasant to walk. We saw many many different kinds of fish and sea snakes and other sea creatures very exciting things for children. We loved also the souvenir machine at the of the tour where you put two coins one of 1 euro and 1 of 5 cents of euro and using the machine you turn the one coin of 5 cents to a lovely oval shape metal souvenir

A nice aquarium however it is very small and quite overpriced in my opinion. There wasn’t as many exhibits as we thought, and everything was seen very quickly. We thought as it was the aquarium of Paris it would be far larger and have more sea animals. The toilets weren’t very nice.
There was however a lot of interesting facts and information on all of the walls, and the staff and check in was nice.

This aquarium is great for kids. I wouldn't recommend it for people above the age of 12. It has good information and cool fish. It is family friendly with a nice area for kids. It has a cinema and sometimes has exhibition. The fish are beautiful to look at. The vending machine is broke don't use it. It is a good price for good entertainment. Good for cool photos and videos.

An aquarium, to visit on a rainy day. Entrance fee is a bit high for what it offers though.
Very big shark tank, and a lot of smaller tanks, with a nice jellyfish room.
Aquarium is very old fashioned build up. And in the movie theatre all movies are solely in French.

We chose to see the Aquarium as our first activity in Paris after having just arrived that morning. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our time visiting here. With an incredible display of sea life, and a huge shark tank, our family was thoroughly entertained during our visit. Located in a lovely part of Paris one also gets some great views, and photos, of the Eiffel Tower. If you are looking for a good family activity in Paris then the Aquarium is a good choice.

First of all, people working there are very rude. They do not speak English and they speak bad for you in French in front of you if they realize you do not speak French. Management should definitely consider this when hiring people to this attraction.
We decided to visit Cineaqua aquarium on our last day in Paris, since we had some time before our plane would leave. Aquarium is pretty close to Trocadero metro station, so we took our 2 suitcases and went there (me, my husband and my 5-yr old daughter). When the security guard saw us, he started shouting at us, that we cannot leave our suitcases there. I left my family and went down the stairs to talk to him. He kept saying "No, no bags" and that was all the English words he knew. So I stayed outside in the park with our stuff and my husband went inside with my daughter to see the exhibition. In about 1 hour they where already outside. Small aquarium they said, not many things to see, and apparently no events even though they where mentioned on the website program. When they came outside, my daughter asked me to go back inside to the gift shop and buy a gift. I took the two tickets (my husband's and my daughter's). I meet the same security guard, that was shouting at me about the bags earlier, sitting next to a cashier. I am explaining that I already have a ticket (in the website it says that having a ticket you can go back inside as many times as you like). It looks like the security guard speaks more English than the cashier (a blonde tall guy)!!!!!!!... They talk for me in French, using bad words, but I do not understand exactly what they say, and I cannot definitely reply in French myself. At the end they tell me to buy another ticket if I want to go inside. I am explaining that I wanted to buy a ticket in the first place, but he did not let me get inside with my suitcase. So, since not all the 3 of us can be inside simultaneously I will not give them more money. Then they start shouting at me, showing me the exit. Really rude people, I hope management is reading reviews and you will not meet them in case you decide to go there. Anyway, I am trying to be kind with them, asking them to go only to the shop with my kid, to buy her a present and then leave. They keep shouting "Noooo, buy ticket". As you understand I was afraid that they might even hit me if I kept being there with my child. Which company, would ask me to pay 20+ Euros in order to buy a gift and pay extra for the gift? And basically when I already have a ticket in my hands... "Husband buy gift, not you. You ticket, then gift." the security guard kept shouting.. Since this happened on our last hours in Paris, I totally regret that we went there, as I will always remember the rude people that almost kicked us out with their behavior, like if we were criminals.
In such attractions that many tourists visit, it is unacceptable to hire people in people-interacting positions that do not speak at least some basic English, and who also have a very bad behavior to other people.

I must say I was VERY disapointed by the Aquarium. Considering the price (20€ for an adult / 13€ for Child), I was expecting something rather exciting.
Finally, me and my kids were very upset. The visit was very quick and there was nothing really special in this place that is best to avoid. M
Last but not least, the staff is rather rude.
Would you like to visit an aquarium in Paris, go to the one at Porte Dorée: much cheaper and is worth the visit.
