Strolling through the streets of Montmartre a couple of days ago, having visited Dalidah's grave earlier on ( which we had done so on other occasions to pay our respect) thought to pass Dalidahs home this time. lovely house in a quiet street I'd say a very good position in this area of Paris and quiet for where it is. Nothing more to say, just a house ..interesting to see if in the area.

The neighborhood surrounding the home is quite nice. By descending from Place du Tertre, you see a wooden windmill then you take a narrow path to make to a white wall on your right hand. There is a plaque that says that this was Dalida’s home. Unfortunately, we couldn’t get inside and honestly, I don’t know if you visit the place.

But it is the idea that counts... it is just the façade of a house with a large worden door, in a small street.

Dalida lived in what I think is the nicest area of Montmarte in this mansion of a place but tucked away in a quiet street.. She left her influence on France and Montmartre and is still worshipped in this part of the world. A famous Egyptian girl who became her own Cleopatra here..

It's very pity that the house of Dalida is not open to public!! Need to become a museum or a monument! From outside is a lovely three floors house in Montmartre in a peaceful street!! I wish I could see more from my favorite singer!!
