The only one of its kind in Champagne , this Elizabethan-style estate was conceived and built by Mrs Pommery in the 19th century! Take a guided tour of the cellars for a peek into some of our Gallo-Roman chalk quarries and our contemporary art exhibit.

This was our first tour in champagne and we were glad we did it as it was interesting to see such a large champagne house and the tour guide was informative. However, it is a shame that there are brightly coloured, rather odd bits of...More

Visited the caves and plantation of this "maison" in July and it was the perfect timing as it was not too hot and not to cold. The caves are long - a lot of kms but we did the main ones and tried the millesime...More

Really nice tour in the caves. It cost 20€ (incl. one glass of Pommery royal) or 30€ (incl. one glass of Pommery royal and Pommery grand cru vintage/millesime). It is good to make reservation for the tour.

Got a cab from the hotel to House Pommery. Booked in advance and had an excellent tour by Monsieur. Very good English. Took us down into the chilly cellars (10degrees). Cellars have millions of bottles of champagne but also some amazing artworks and art installations....More

This visit and guided tour of the underground cellar was amazing. And the guide gave us all the details of the operation. I'm certainly not the first to go there but if you are in Reims put this on your list of must do visits.

Pommery is a supporter of contemporary art, so the first thing you noticed driving through the gates was a huge, temporary “tree” sculpture of brightly-colored fruits and vegetables. This tree was a piece in the massive art installations that continued in the reception hall and...More

Pommery tends to modern art, when in the caves. It is all lovely to look at, with the exception of the art outside on the main lawn. It looks like an ad for a canned fruit factory, and in my humble opinion ruins the beauty...More

Very easy to reserve your visit in the tourist office. The guide was knowledgeable and the we found it very informative. The cellars are beautiful, vast and cold so wrap up.

The answer depends on just how thoroughly you would like to cover Reims. We did a day trip, leaving Paris at 07:58. That comfortably gave us time to schedule tours at both Pommery and Taittinger. We had a leisurely lunch and... More
