Beautiful structure. Great architecture and artistry. Good restoration though its still an ongoing process. Glad to have witnessed this part of history. Stained glass windows from various artists are a sight to behold.

I don’t know if one can fall in love with a church but it was love at first sight. The exterior with all the figures and things I don’t know the proper name of! The inside with all the saints and the beautiful windows and...More

The Cathedral of Our Lady of Reims is a Roman Catholic church, a masterpiece of 13th century art. The cathedral was the site of the baptism of Clovis 1 and the traditional site of the crowning of the kings of France.

We were here on a cloudy, rainy day. Not even the weather or lack of light could dim the magnificence of the windows at the Reims Cathedral. Of course, you are drawn to visit Reims for its amazing history related to the coronation of the...More

Have been in a number of beautiful cathedrals throughout Europe and Scotland and this did not disappoint us. Once you walk in the size takes your breath away. You need to take your time and walk around and take in all the chapels and plaques....More

Unbelievable history. Unbelievable story of the long reconstruction after it was damaged during World War I. A must see.

Impossible to spend enough time here. We returned 3 times, and still felt that there was more to see and to learn. Unforgettable.

We visited many cities and all the Cathedrals in France were free. Donations are welcome. You do not book but may stand in line during popular times like when they reopen after the lunch time closure.
