The sheer size and scale of these gardens is amazing. We visited in winter and they were still beautiful. Will definitely try and get back during a spring time to see everything in flower.

We were pressed for time since we were heading to Chateau de Chenonceau so we were only able to visit the garden. The garden is remarkable. Beautiful flowers. I would highly recommend for anyone who enjoys beautiful flowers and plants/trees. Strong recommendation! This was a...More

The Château itself is worth a visit but the magnificent gardens are in a league of their own and should not be missed although the maze was one of the simplest I've seen Start with the Château where each room is well laid out and...More

This is one of the best Chateau's I've visited. All you can say about the gardens is WOW!! If you visit here first, the other chateau's leaving you asking for more. Make sure you add this to you list of places to visit.

We spent so much time just wandering through the many gardens on a perfect fall day. The Chateau should be on your must see list for the Loire Valley. Really did not want to leave.

Known for its elaborate gardens, the chateau of Chateau Villandry is beautiful and enjoyable to tour in its own right. Originally built as a medieval castle, it was restored and converted into a chateau with only the keep remaining from the original castle. A unique...More
