We took time in the lovely spot the windows are terrific the majority old but a section of modern as well. They had English translations as well which was just lovely and added to our visit. We really enjoyed seeing this lovely much loved cathedral.
Beautiful old cathedral with an excellent aspect . We visited on the tractor train which gives you half an hour to look at it. The stained glass is magnificent .
A really lovely old cathedral in Tours - well worth a visit. The cloisters close at lunch time but the cathedral remains open.
The Cathedral is the usual, impressive sight, like a host of other French Cathedrals, bit I wouldn't go out of my way to see it. Compared to Chartres, it is rather Ho Hum.
