This museum is looking at the history of craftsmen and women over the years and the setting up of the Guilds in France. It was informative and the exhibits are very skilful.

In order to join a guild and to become a "compagnon", the artisan has to create a masterpiece to demonstrate his competence within a particular trade. The masterpiece was then reviewed by his peers. Unbelievable work, incredibible time to make them. Really nice to visit...More

We spent 2 weeks in the Tours area and this was one site that we could have definitely lived without. The displays are boring and out-of-date and the staff is not engaging.
