Try the Guignette just beside the bridge on the city side (left of the bridge if you are heading into the cit. It is very laid back and a nice way to relax.

We were back to visit our family and we drove across this large and impressive bridge that links the city to the northern suburbs. Good views of the river and the traffic moves fast enough.

As our cousin lives on the other side of the river from Tours, we crossed this bridge many times. It's a workhorse and substantial, and a landmark.

This bridge is right beside our hotel so we have walked over it a few times to and from the city centre. A long bridge, very pretty and impressive views to stop and look at. Two small islands on either side.

The Rue Nationale is a substantial road and needs a substantial bridge to carry it. This does in a most adequate manner.

So easy and so close to old town tours and Rue Colbert, at the end of Rue Nationale, this is an easy stop, a great walk and a great place for a dip breath. Enjoy! Stroll ! Named in honor of President Wilson for the service to France in WW2, this bridge is a fabulous place so view the Loire, Tours and their surroundings. There are also bike paths, trails and walks connected to the bridge. My favorite time is early morning sunrise or early evening sunset. Spectacular!

The tram crosses this bridge and cars can go across in one direction. There is swimming in the river possible on one side and a nice outdoor bar on the other.

A stroll across this bridge affords good views of the city skyline on both sides. The high water marks show just how severe the floods were in the 19th century.

A good place for a Kodak moment. The area is currently being refurbished and will be amazing when complete. There are a couple of fairground rides for children here too.

Nice way to see Loire. Simon's island on the left, beautiful sand and what looks like water fields on both sides when the river is shallow. Look for flat bottom boats typical for Loire. On both sides of the bridge there are charming riverside cafes.
