Don't miss this place!! I was traveling with a group and our leader took us here. Before we arrived, he shared the history of the place and it is a beautiful story!

Easy to find. Parked right outside. Beautiful place!! Someone must have spent years putting the mosaic work together but it's amazing!! It's everywhere

Yes, that is what it is, a very colorful House. It is like you are in Children's world. Of course, once you start interpreting the Art and the thoughts behind it, it gets serious. But the colorful house brings a smile to your face. Beauty...More

What a fun, but unknown gem! Only an hour from Orleans where we were staying . There is some quaint shops , a beautiful cathedral and excellent crepes close by in the town of Chartres. Worth adding to your say

A real eye opener into the amount of love and dedication that the gentleman put into the making of this house decorated with pieces of broken crockery. A truly mystical experience. Can't recommend it enough

This place was one of the highlights of this and any other of the many trips I have taken to France. I almost, selfishly, don't want to rave about it as part of it's magic was how "secreted" it felt. It does take a bit...More

Don't stand still you may get tiled. One mans obsession lives on as a quirky place to visit. Everything is mosaic. We visited in September 2016 and it was 5:60 euro per adult and spent about 90 minutes there.

Just a short walk from the centre of Chartres La Maison Picassiette is worth seeing for sure. It's an odd little tourist attraction / work of art. The detail and imagination behind the work is truly impressive, and the little garden is delightful. It won't...More
