This palace was a wonderful look at the history of Burgundy. We were part of a tour group and had an excellent guide who explained the story of the Dukes on Burgundy as we visited each room. The artifacts, statues, art work, etc. were very interesting and we enjoyed learning about an era we previously knew nothing about.

I took a group of 25 adults to see the tombs of the Dukes of Burgundy.Absolutely beautiful, a must see when visiting Dijon. My group were spellbound by... More

The museum was disappointing. After multiple attempts the receptionist finally found two headsets that worked. The numbers on attractions did not always match with the headset and there really wasn't much there to see and we just were not impressed.

Don't do what I did which was try to visit on a tuesday becaue it is closed. This old ducal palace, along with the Owl walk, is a must.....indeed you cannot avoid it. Set among the splendour that is france you will be swept away with the maginificence that was the Ducal power in Burgundy.

A prime example of the age of royalty and the French revolution. The staircases and high ceilings give a sense of the grandeur of this palace.

We loved the building and the artifacts. The audio guide commentary is informative. We added the walk up the Philippe le Bon and a stroll through the Place de Liberation while we were there. A very pleasant overall experience.

We spent a lovely Sunday afternoon in this area. The palace is interesting, get the audio guide. The day we were there was the weekend of an organ grinders event so every street corner had someone playing music. It added to the feeling of a holiday. The palace has an elevator for those of us who don't do stairs. It... More

This has some amazing rooms and a great staircase. We were lucky enough to go on an open door day and see all the rooms.
