This is a Burgundy wine maker to visit as he has an excellent variety of red and white burgundies at reasonable prices and he is American, which is very unusual in the Burgundian wine business.

We had drunk Alex Gambal wines at home (U.S.) before going to Beaune. The wines are rich and wide-ranging in taste and sometimes pricey, Our local wine merchant had arranged the tour for the 2 of us. And the winery was quite near our hotel....More

Brilliant for English speakers thanks to this fantastic domaine being owned and run by American-born Alex Gambal. Wines are beautifully produced and stored in historic cellars.
