We were on a river cruise and thus had to follow the itinerary. I would have much more enjoyed going to the vineyards. Regardless, the wines tasting at Marche aux Vins was well worth the stop. Pop for the Grands Crus – 27 E wine tasting. What was nice about this wine tasting is that you go into the cellar... More

Buy the top tasting option. It is a cheap way of tasting a range of wines from average to very, very tasty. The tasting/tour starts in the caves under the building and moves from barrel to barrel upon which sit a bottle or two of the sample. Sip lightly so your head is still on at the end of the... More

We enjoyed our visit to the wine caves at Marche aux Vines, and the tasting that followed. Laurent Bruley was very helpful. We bought a full case of wine -- including a Mersault Premiere Cru (blanc), Beaune Premiere Cru (rouge), and Pouilly Fuisse Hospices de Beaune.

We visited the Hospices de Beaune and Marche is right beside it. For $20 you get to taste a number of very excellent selections from Burgundy along with access to knowledgable wine stewards who will answer your questions. We had a wonderful gentleman that spent the better part of an hour discussing how to get the very best value in... More

The best products are in here. A great area to walk around. Bring money- you won't regret it. Crowded at time.

If you already have a fair amount of knowledge on wine making and Burgundy wines, this ia a nice and fairly inexpensive way to taste some good wines at your on pace. Do not opt for the cheapest option where you only taste the four village wines down in the cellar though. Go for the option which include 2 grand... More

We went because it was mentioned in a guide book particularly for their impressive caves. They supposedly give a regular tour but they weren't giving it the day we were there without any explanation. It was 9€ to taste 4 wines and would have increased to 35€ if you wanted to taste all 11 including two Grand Crus. For the... More

After visiting Les Hospices de Beaune, Le marché aux vins is a good alternative for wine lovers as well as tourists. The staff is very friendly and qualified and gives a lot of information as well as tips to taste Burgundy wines. The gallery, where the tasting takes place is additionally a pleasure for your eyes. Thank you for that... More

On a recent tour of Europe a stop in the Burgundy region offered us an opportunity to stop in and visit March aux Vins. There is a "cool" tasting cave under the store with a .very nice tasting set-up. We did a "self-guided" tour that also included one of the staff stop by to answer any questions. There is a... More

This self guided tour through the caves allows you to sample various wines en route, that you simply pour for yourself. For us it was fantastic in that we could sample in peace and not be continually talked at like a full tour. We were also lucky that no one else was there, making the cave ambience even better (I...
