Downtown Beaune, which by the way is a very beautiful and charming city, I warmly recommend a stop in this very traditional wine house where you will be able to taste and fine tune the perfect burgundy that will match your taste. Huge wine cellar over 1000 sq meters, great people who like to share their passion.

Maison J.Drouhin is a very large producer in Burgundy. The operation inside the city center is not the main production facility, but it is very beautiful and worth the tour. Book in advance to get the tour you want and in your preferred language. Once high season kicks in, walk-in would be nearly impossible. The cellar tour is rather fascinating... More

We followed our 2:30 class next door at Sensation Vin with the 4:00 tasting here and it worked out perfectly. The tour was quite nice, led in English by a British expat. The cellars are remarkable, with an array of vintage bottles covered in dust and a lot of history behind them. The tasting at the end of the tour... More

Booked via web site for tour and wine tasting for 38 euros pp and received prompt confirmation. What is not clear is that you can do just wine tasting for 22 euros so the tour is optional and at 16 euro pp, although interesting history, is a bit steep in my opinion especially if you have seen many other cellars.... It was the best tasking in Beaune. Friendly staff and amazing wines... can't ask for more! There are four types of tasting. Ask for details if you are willing to spend more to taste fantastic wines.

This was our second visit to Domaine Joseph Drouhin, which was fitting, as it is one of our favorite producers in the Burgundy Region. The previous was for my wife’s birthday, and this one was close to that date – a redux, of sorts. First, the vineyards are spectacular in the Côte de Nuits and the Côte de Beaune, and... More

This is a special place. The cave below has had three owners: the church, the King of France and the Drouhin Family. We attended a special Dinner of the Dukes held in the cave with terrific food and great wines by Drouhin. It was held in the old parliament underground. It was spectacular. the next day we returned for a... More

We noticed this special tour online while in Beaune and were able to book it. Only done rarely and is about the WWII activities of Maurice Drouhin. He was in the Resistance and was hidden by the nuns in the Hospice archives. Tour included the cellars and a tour of the Hospice including rooms not open to the public, which... More

This was a very interesting wine tour because of the history of Maison Drouhin which provided a tour of the centuries old cellars which are underneath the city and church. The history oozes from the stone walls and some of the well aged bottles. Our guide was very knowledgeable and, at the tasting, we were treated to some very nice... More

This is a spectacular tour. The underground caves are amazing and seemingly neverending. So much history to see, both in Beaune and with Maison Drouhin. Unfortunately, our tour was marred by a group of five wine drinkers being led by a guide who kept volunteering his advice to us. Was tempting to tell him to leave us alone, but kept... More
