About
As a vine grower and craftsman , Maison Champy is located in the heart of Beaune, the capital of the Burgundian wine region. CHAMPY is the oldest wine company in Burgundy with its buildings inspired by the Eiffel school of architecture, listed by the historical monuments of Beaune, with the cellars of the Bell from the XVth century which belonged to the Jacobin convent. Today the wine grower and craftsman expertise is revealed in the 21 ha owned on the Côte de Beaune, in particular in Pernand-Vergelesses.

A very interesting tour. The stunning cellar alone makes it worth a visit. The host knew her stuff but went through the motions a bit. She missed the connection with our teenagers, who are actually really interested in wine culture. The wines were amazing, even if you just go for the Terroir Tasting.

An extremely educational wine tour of Burgundy. Daniel the host is an expert and helped his guests come up to speed on what is a surprisingly complex topic. Also the quality of the graphic presentation was remarkable.

Had a very experienced sommelier named Tanguy, who really knew the history of Maison Champy. He was very professional, friendly and made our wine tasting such a wonderful experience. Maison Champy is a beautiful wine house with delicious wines. Thank you Tanguy and Maison Champy, we highly recommend a visit.

Wonderful experience in a very charming and historical place. The guide was so competent and interesting. The wine taste so good that was impossible not to buy a couple of bottles.

We recently had the pleasure of taking a wine tour at Maison Champy, and it was an exceptional experience, largely thanks to our guide, Daniele. From start to finish, the tour was informative, engaging, and thoroughly enjoyable. Our group had a lot of fun learning the rich history and process of winemaking and at last, enjoying the wine from this historic winery. Thank you, Daniele!

A very interesting and informative tour, describing the history and classifications of wines in Beaune and the surrounding area with a tasting of 5 wines. Our guide, Daniele, was very welcoming and knowledgeable, explaining the fascinating history of Maison Champy and the origin and qualities of the wines. Highly recommended!

Personal tour of the cellar with history & fantastic explanation of the Borgogne wine region and Maison Champy wine. We did the premier wine tasting which was fantastic, our guide was very knowledgeable. A thoroughly enjoyable couple of hours.

A wonderful experience that gave me great insight into the wines of the Burgundy region and particularly Beaune, and how accreditation happens in relation to the climat of where the grapes are grown. Pauline was an excellent host and it was quite incredible to be standing amongst cellars that were 500 years old and stretched for a kilometre under this beautiful town. There were wines from as early as 1858 and to hear of the link with Louis Pasteur and also Gustave Eiffel to Maison Champy was so interesting. The tasting was very nice too of course and the whole tour was fantastic value for money. Thank you!
