The museum is attached to an arts and craft shop based on shells. Not very large, but quite interesting and with lots of information in English. Only €5 entry.

This is a most wonderful collection housed in dozens and dozens of top of the range display cases, all beautifully lit and labelled in both french and english. Unbelieveable!

small museum and nice gift shop, this is something to do for an hour with the children when wandering around St Malo. The kids can do an activity sheet to learn about shells from around the world. Friendly shop owner

Found this place accidentally. The shop is absolutely full of wonderful and fairly priced items from jewellery to shells and plates bowls pens etc etc. Fabulous items. Staff were above and beyond helpful. I will definitely go again next time im in St Malo
