The Gothic cathedral is the centerpiece of the central plaza. Between the two spires is King Gradlon on horseback with a wonderful legend. The nave is slightly crooked - apparently due to a neighboring bulding in the 13th century! Beautiful 15th c. stained glass. Lots...More

This cathedral is quite rightly a National Monument. Admission is free. The Gothic architecture is amazing outside and in. The interior is light and spacious and the ambiance is relaxed. It is worth doing a little research before your visit to get the most out...More

Built on the foundations of an old roman church, the cathedral is a jewel of gothic art. But the odd thing about it, is that the choir is out of line with the nave, slightly curved to the left!!and apparently that was done in order...More

The first place to visit in this beautiful town, especially if the sun is shining, so you can appreciate the breathtaking stained glass. Not particularly historic but a very fine building with two ornate spires.

The Cathedrale Saint-Corentin has beautiful stained glass windows, a wonderful Gothic exterior, and a unique bent layout of the church floor plan.

We always enjoy an all too rare trip to Quimper when in Brittany. The cathedral is a gem and well worth the visit. Beautiful and very evocative of Christianity and devoutness of this part of France where religion seems to be a more important part...More

The must see site in Quimper. Take your time and take in the peace and quiet of the place. Also note how the cathedral 'bends' to the left from the main nave to the back choir of the cathedral.

This a cathedral which combines the majesty if the building with the history and Christian witness of Brittany. The history time line display was especially interesting In the 100th year since the end if WW1 the monument in remembrance is particularly moving.
