We hired a little boat for two hours, and loved the freedom of puttering along the river. It gives a very different perspective of the area from the river, and the boat was exceedingly easy to drive. Excellent value for money, and the proprietors were...More

Having received thorough instruction before we set off, we made our way towards St Malo. The two hours rental we had gets you as far as you can go in a northerly direction to Lyvet. On a very sunny morning in July we were virtually...More

We have over some years observed the various hire boats on the Rance and in common with many others thought it appeared fun, relaxing and a really pleasant way to explore the river. I checked out Tripadvisor for reviews (obviously) and the boat hire website...More

We hired one of the little boats from the dock at the Port de Dinan, you just go onto the gangplank and you're good to go. The owners explain all the features and safety procedures clearly but the steering is really simple (like a car...More

We are visiting Dinan every year, this was the third time we rented a boat. The couple running the business were extremely rude. If we hadn't promised the kids a trip we would have walked on by. They talked to the kids with arrogance and...More

Saw the hire boats chugging up and down the rance whilst sitting in a cafe next to the river and thought we would like a go at that. The hire place was a minutes walk and easy to find. The man and woman running the...More

We rented a boat for an hour and were given clear instructions on operating it, how far to go upstream and down. It was very peaceful and a pleasant way to pass the time if somewhat expensive. The boat is covered in case of rain...More

We have visited Dinan many times and have rented these boats a few times over the years. However today was the first time as a family with young children. The couple running the business were extremely unaccommodating and rude and if it hadn't been for...More

Third visit with kids now able to sit still on the boat and enjoy it. It's an hour on the river but you're never to far from the quay. Simple boats which are good enough for their purpose. Take it easy and enjoy the Rance.
