Dinan was a great stop for lunch and a walk prior to heading to MSM for late afternoon + evening (prior to driving back to Bayeux). Lots of shops + cafes, in a beautiful setting. We drove through the Port of Dinan on the way...More

Well worth the walk exploring. Dinan is a lovely place. Plenty of historical building with some lovely Norman churches. All free to enter. Plenty of food restaurants

The ramparts of Dinan provide sweeping views of the old city and the countryside. The history of the walls and the homes along it virtually seep out of the stone. Beautiful and interesting

You can buy a town map for €0.20 at the tourist information centre, which has a marked walk on around the ramparts. We did the walk when it was raining but still thought the town looked beautiful. There are information boards dotted at various points...More
