If you are nature lover, you will enjoy visiting this place. Around 120 kind of animal and vegetal species were collect and store in this museum. There are many game and quiz machine to play when we're tired. With a large area, Museum can receive lot of visitors per day. It open from Monday to Saturday and it's only free... More

I visited the Exposition Des Cartes pour faire la Guerre which showed the cartography techniques used during the 1st world war. It was well illustrated and fascinating to see.

It's a smallish museum in a nice old building, with creaking floorboards - it certainly sets the atmosphere. All the descriptions are in French so at least a limited French knowledge is recommended. The museum offers - among other things - a nice collection of and information about the flora, fauna, and geology of the Auvergne region (collection of butterflies,... More
