Nice walking. Fun. A few places to eat and shop. Good people and dog watching. Walked to the park on the north.

This promenade is really beautiful and on a dry sunny day it is a lovely and quite long walk end to end. It can get busy but always the story is the same. A lovely atmosphere with everyone enjoying themselves on the beach and in...More

Although it was crowded when we arrived, it is a wonderful view and walk, just alongside the beach. The area is quite good as there are many locals and restaurants around. You can also stay in the beach.

We visited this Promenade mid June, 2017. The day was sunny, beach was full of people sunbathing. This is a colorful place, worth a visit.

This was such a wonderful place to take a leisurely walk along but not on the beach. The promenade is dotted with cafés and shops (very tourist targeted). Great people watching.

This town is worth a half-day visit. Lots of charming restaurants and cafés and fun little shops. Would not spend a night here as there is just not enough there.

We were in Saint-Jean-de Luz only one night, but we found wandering the town, and particularly the promenade, a lovely experience. Be sure to go up to the lookout (north side of the beach) to see the karst formations and lovely views.

I agree with the response above. We drove into the town and paid on a meter for a couple of hours and walked around. Most of it's pedestrianised and it's really not that large so it's a comfortable walk - they have some... More
